The rich traditions and heritage of Native American culture
are represented in the following paintings. Many paintings were
inspired by historic photos; some, by current images of
people and places within our Native American communities.
This is "Hopi Medicine Man."
Here are "San Ildefonso Dancers."
This painting is entitled "Potter."
Here is "Pueblo Couple."
I call this painting "Watering at the Rio Grande."
This painting was inspired by a photograph in the newspaper depicting
three generations of descendants of Sacajawea, the interpreter and guide
for the Lewis and Clark Expedition. It's called, "Three Generations."
Here is a painting of Taos Pueblo, entitled the same.
This painting is called "Navajo Hoogan."
Lastly, what would our Native American traditions be without the
buffalo? Here's an image of a print of my painting entitled "Buffalo."
